Your hosts, Pat and Keith Notman, along with their daughter Penny MacLeod invite you to experience fabulous PEI while enjoying the comfort and convenience of our fully equipped 3-star superior cottages, regular cottages or our charming 2 1/2-star suites.

Located just outside the PEI National Park , the Sandpiper Cottages and Suites offer the best of both worlds. Just a short drive from the Cavendish area attractions and many of the island best golf courses, our two acre property offers quiet relaxed enjoyment.

We think the Sandpiper is in one of the best locations on PEI. Stanhope Cape is almost half way between one end of the island and the other. North Cape and East Point are both an easy day trip from our location. We are short 5 minute walk to Stanhope Cape Beach and within minutes of all of the North Shore beaches in the National Park. Charlottetown is only 15 minutes away and the Cavendish area attractions are approximately 25 minutes from here.

We are well away from the road with lots of room to run and play or to sit quietly and read. Deep Sea Fishing excursions can be easily arranged from Covehead Harbour which is just around the corner from us. The Richard's Seafood Restaurant and pound at the harbour are great! There is nothing like a fresh Atlantic lobster on the patio. Stanhope Golf Course is also just around the corner and tee off times can be easily arranged.

We celebrated 10 years in business last summer and have seen so many positive changes to the Stanhope area over the years. The latest additions include the new Stanhope Promenade which is a lovely biking and walking path around the Covehead Bay and the new cycling path in the National Park.

Our guests (many of whom have returned year after year) tell us how much they love our property and proximity to the North shore beaches.
